Well, they called yesterday and asked me to come in this afternoon to start. So it looks like my resume was effective and I will now be part of the Jim Hanley’s Universe family. It will be interesting to see how working again will affect my writing productivity. Traditionally, working has done something in my mind that’s kept me writing more than I did when unemployed, but these past two months I’ve been quite productive despite, or perhaps due to, said lack of employment. So we shall see…

Of course, writing has no set hours. It is my trips to the Botanic Garden I will have to be especially careful not to let slip through the cracks of my new, busier schedule. I know if I forget that I probably won’t notice at first, but then I will start to grow inexplicably cranky.

UPDATE: I went in today and met more of the Hanley’s crew. I am excited about this.
