A while back I posted a flash fiction called THE SLOW SHRUG OF STONES. Daniel LaFrance (my partner on CARRIER and PLUMMET and a talented storyteller in his own right) asked if he could adapt the story into a comic. I was immensely pleased with the idea and immediately said yes. He posted his pencils for the pages today on his blog. I may have written the original prose piece, but the art and execution of these pages is 100% Daniel. It’s not hard to see why he was a Comic Book Idol finalist this year. He’s certainly my Comic Book Idol!
