This is a magical movie.
And I’m not just saying that because my name’s in the credits. Even after all the times I read the various versions of this script, and all the unmagical production side I saw behind the magic onscreen, I was still taken away to this film’s own version of reality and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I’ve said it before but it still holds true: Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction) is in many ways the kind of storyteller I aspire to be, both in skill and imagination. Magorium opened rather quietly last weekend amidst all the hullabaloo over Beowulf and Enchanted, but do yourself a favor and go see it while it’s still in theaters.
If for some bizarre reason you’re still not convinced, you can find the trailer over here.

Did you get the Friday after thanksgiving off?
I unfortunately had to work.
Yes…I, too, had to work. Another reason for the Leap Year. ;)
Saw Magorium last night. It is amazing. Full of creative truth and sweet, but not all wrapped and tagged.
If you haven’t seen it RUN to the theater right now!
